There was uncertainty on Friday morning regarding the health condition of Dr. Doyin Okupe, a former presidential spokesperson and ex-Director-General of the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Council.
According to The PUNCH, sources close to his family disclosed that Okupe was in critical condition following a recent surgery at an undisclosed hospital.
However, some political associates, who preferred to remain anonymous, claimed he had passed away.
According to one source, the former presidential aide had been battling a severe illness for several weeks before undergoing the medical procedure.
