Vice President Kashim Shettima on Thursday chaired the 146th session of the National Economic Council at the State House, Abuja.
According to The PUNCH, the meeting, which commenced at 12:06 p.m. in the Council Chamber, is expected to be the final gathering of the council for 2024.
High on the agenda are critical discussions on the progress of states regarding the establishment of State Police and financial planning for the 2025 fiscal year.
The meeting brought together state governors, several deputy governors, and key members of President Bola Tinubu’s economic team to deliberate on these and other national issues.
