A Nigerian music star, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy said he is not getting much credit as an international music star.
The ‘African Giant’ crooner who works with the industry’s best reiterated that he has chosen not to border about the credit as the world’s best.
In a video, he said Jesus did not get due credit until he died so he is no match.
After a performance at the Afronation festival in Portugal, Burna Boy who engages the services of other professionals like Nigerian-British show promoter, Adesegun Adeosun Jnr, popularly known as Smade, and podcaster Adesope aka Shopsydoo, opined that he appreciated the fact that people are testifying that he is the best musician in the world.
In the video, Smade was heard saying; “Burna, you keep blessing us mehn. No, you don’t get your credits enough bro. You’re the f*cking best in the world.”
Burna Boy replied, “No, I don’t [get enough credits]. Jesus also didn’t get his own credits till he died, so who am I? [Laughs]”
Shopsydoo added: “It’s not about Afrobeats anymore, it’s about worldwide domination.”
