American store, Costco is refuting claims made by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ attorney regarding the rapper’s extensive baby oil collection, which was alleged to have been acquired at one of the wholesale retailer’s locations.
During recent legal proceedings, Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, suggested that the hip-hop mogul’s substantial stockpile of baby oil was a result of shopping at Costco.
This statement came in the wake of U.S. attorneys revealing that they discovered approximately 1,000 bottles of baby oil at Combs’ various mansions.
They allege these bottles were used for “freak offs,” which they describe as multiday drug-fueled sex parties, to which Diddy purportedly lured and coerced women.
“He buys in bulk,” Agnifilo stated in an interview posted on Wednesday. “I think they have Costcos in every place where he has a home.”
In response, a spokesperson for Costco clarified on Thursday that none of their U.S. locations stock baby oil.
Additionally, the retailer does not list baby oil on their website, nor does their competitor, Sam’s Club, indicating a broader lack of availability for the product.
When contacted for further clarification, Costco has not yet responded. Agnifilo, however, remains skeptical of the government’s assessment of Diddy’s baby oil inventory. “I don’t think it was 1,000,” he said. “I think it was a lot. I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know.”
He further emphasized his point in an interview with TMZ, recalling that the nature of Diddy’s alleged parties seemed reminiscent of simpler times.
“Back when I was a kid in the late ’70s, they were called threesomes,” he remarked, expressing his confusion about the “1,000” figure. “I can’t imagine it’s thousands [of bottles of baby oil and lube], and I’m not really sure what the baby oil has to do with anything.”
After TMZ’s Harvey Levin suggested that the government’s implication was that baby oil could serve as “a lubricant for an orgy,” Diddy’s attorney appeared perplexed. “I guess — I don’t know what you need a thousand [for],” he stated. “One bottle of baby oil goes a long way. I don’t know what you need a thousand for.”
Reiterating his earlier remarks, Agnifilo noted, “He has a big house. He buys in bulk. I think they have Costcos in every place where he has a home. I mean, have you sat in a parking lot of a Costco and see what people walk out of there with?”
As he wrapped up his thoughts, Agnifilo concluded, “I don’t think it was a thousand. Let’s just say it was a lot.”
These bizarre details about Diddy’s supposed vast collection of baby oil surfaced amid serious allegations outlined in a recent indictment against the renowned artist.
Federal prosecutors have charged Combs with three counts involving sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.
He was apprehended in New York on September 16 and subsequently arraigned in a Manhattan federal courthouse the following day, where he pleaded not guilty to all charges.
