The Spiritual Leader of Soul Revival Ministry, Nnewi, Anambra State, Prophet Iyke Uzukwu, has disclosed that President Bola Tinubu Bola is Awolowo’s apostle, urging Nigerians to pray for him to touch every part of the country in his ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda.
The cleric disclosed this on Sunday, noting that Tinubu got prepared for the 2023 presidential election 20 years earlier.
He said that if the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party had listened to him, that they would have withdrawn their cases from the tribunal, to save them a lot of pain and cost. He said it was shown to him clearly what would happen. He noted that it would be difficult to fight corruption in Nigeria since, according to him, the entire system is corrupt.
Uzukwu stressed that people had always accused the police of being corrupt because they were seen receiving bribes at checkpoints, arguing that there were many authorities that had outclassed the police in corrupt practices.
He further noted that those who accused members of the judiciary of being bribed should understand that bribery had been part of Nigeria’s judicial system for decades, admonishing that if politicians could not save Nigeria that revolution could,
While recalling that the Nigerian masses in 2020 revolted against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad which ended the activities of the operatives, he said, “A day is coming when Nigerians will rise to say ‘no’ to our politicians, the corrupt leaders, and that is the day Nigeria will experience a great change.
“Nigerian constitution needs to be amended to expunge the area that allows a president to be sworn in when a tribunal is still handling the presidential election matter. That’s a big flaw. Army, the police and all other security forces are answerable to the president and you expect him to lose the case. Not possible in Africa, “the Prophet said.
He then pointed out that anyone God has allowed to be in power whether by hook or crook was destined to be there, saying that what had happened in Nigeria in recent times had happened long ago.
He cited 1979 when he said the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo won a presidential election but that it was given to Alhaji Shehu Shagari. He said that the Igbo jubilated for Shagari’s victory while Chief Awolowo went to tribunal. He recalled that the same thing that happened to Obi happened to Awolowo.
He said the Igbo at that time did not support Awolowo who he believed would have done well as a president, adding that it was the turn of the Igbo this time.
“Nigeria needs a great leader like Awolowo. I have not seen anybody close to the leadership quality Awolowo possessed to be able to touch the lives of many Nigerians. I wept each time I remembered the Great Awolowo who never ruled Nigeria. Awo’s political legacy will never die as long as the Yoruba race is in existence.
“Bola Tinubu is Awolowo’s apostle. Where are Zik’s disciples? After Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu’s death, his picture is seen on APGA uniforms. Where is Zik’s picture seen in Igbo land?
“If you remember, I gave a prophecy two years ago before this election, that Buhari wanted the North to retain power. After the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary, Buhari said that Lawal was his candidate. Tinubu went and wrestled power from the desperate Fulanis which Mr Peter Obi can’t do. If you see someone doing something you can’t do, you allow that person.
“Mr Obi won the Anambra election in 2007 because Obasanjo did not want Ngige the then Governor to be there due to the election was rigged. Tinubu was not my candidate and Obi wasn’t mine either. I love Atiku Abubakar. He is my choice.
“Tinubu got prepared for the 2023 presidential election 20 years earlier. He has structures like Awolowo. He empowered a lot of people and got himself prepared spiritually, physically and financially. He planned for the election, moving like a flood which nobody could have stopped except God. And since God did not stop him, let’s see how God wants to use him. All we have to do is pray for his health and for God to use him to touch the lives of the Nigerian masses.
“I see Awo’s kind of cap on his head and Awo’s kind of glasses on him and let it be he has Awo’s kind of political ideology.
“I pray that Atiku should understand that it was his people who deprived him of the opportunity to win the election and they are regretting it.
“I appeal to President Tinubu to release the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Kanu will never fight his administration. Let Kanu be freed unconditionally,” he concluded.
