Popular TikToker, Elizabeth Aminata Amaduo, better known as Jadrolita or Jarvis, has denied claims that her boyfriend, Habeeb Hazmat, popular known as Peller, set up a GoFundMe for her surgery.
The couple addressed the claims in a recent social media video, insisting that while their story gained widespread attention, no such fundraising campaign was initiated.
According to Javis, her support came primarily from God, family, and well-wishers.
“My family prayed, people prayed, and everyone was supporting me. But above all, God is number one. The whole thing went viral, but there was never a GoFundMe,” she stated.
Peller also dismissed the claims, asserting that even if he were struggling financially, he wouldn’t resort to crowdfunding for Javis’ medical expenses.
“It was God and me who handled it. I never created a GoFundMe for her surgery. Even if I had nothing, I wouldn’t have done that. How much would people even contribute? She paid for the surgery herself, and I supported her in every way I could,” he said.
However, in a past video, Peller has made a public appeal for financial assistance for his partner’s medical procedure.
In the video, he revealed that the surgery requires over ₦30 million and called on their fans to lend a helping hand.
“The amount needed is over ₦30 million. We need your support,” he pleaded.
Peller further clarified that while a GoFundMe has now been set up, it is not in his name.
He also stated that he has personally contributed to the cause and criticized those who might question whether he has made any financial input.
Meanwhile, some doctors had reportedly volunteered to assist with Javis’ surgery.
