Sterling Bank Limited has recently garnered multiple accolades at the fourth Development Bank of Nigeria Service Ambassadors Award Ceremony and Dinner, held in Lagos.
According to The PUNCH, in a statement released by the bank on Wednesday, it was revealed that Sterling Bank secured wins in three categories; DMB with the Highest Impact on Youth, DMB with the Highest Impact on Women MSMEs, and the prestigious DBN Platinum Service Award.
The DBN Platinum Service Award, recognized as the highest honour of the night, also came with a N5 million technical assistance grant.
The DBN Service Ambassadors Award Ceremony is designed to recognize and encourage financial institutions that have significantly contributed to job creation and economic diversification by channeling funds to MSMEs.
Commenting on the achievement, the Divisional Head of Retail & Consumer Banking at Sterling Bank, Edward Ogunmekan, stated, “These awards are a testament to Sterling Bank’s unwavering commitment to empowering Nigerian entrepreneurs, particularly youth and women.
