Popular Nigerian afrobeats singer, Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, has laid record as the first African artiste to perform at the exalted Ballon d’Or ceremony.
The 23-year-old performed at the 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris, France, on Monday night.

At the event, popular football stars, including Erling Haaland, Lionel Messi, Didier Drogba, and many more were seen spiritedly dancing to Rema’s chart-topping tune.
After his performance, Rema cheerfully moved from the stage to exchange pleasantries with the football legends seated in the front row.
