The Lagos State Government has taken the decision to seal off the Alamutu market, located at Idioro in Mushin, due to severe concerns over its poor sanitary conditions.
This action was communicated through an official announcement made by the Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on Tuesday.
The closure of the Alamutu market underscores the government’s commitment to maintaining and enforcing high standards of hygiene and sanitation within public spaces in Lagos State.
“On my directives, #Lawma_gov earlier today (3rd of October) sealed up Alamutu (Ologede) market at Idioro, Mushin due to its poor sanitary conditions and inefficient waste disposal practices,” the post read.
