Oyo State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress and its affiliate bodies staged a protest on Monday blocking entrance of the secretariat.
The NLC insists on speaking with Governor Seyi Makinde on myriad of issues affecting workers interest in the state.
It would be recalled that the Nigeria Labour Congress in Oyo State have insisted on having direct negotiation with Governor Seyi Makinde on demands of the civil and public servants in the state to avert impending strike.
This was part of the outcome of an emergency meeting the congress had with workers at its state secretariat in Ibadan.
Consequently, after the meeting on Thursday, the Congress has directed civil and public servants in the state to converge on the Government Secretariat on Monday to force the governor to speak with them.
