The Oyo State Government has initiated an investigation into the death of a patient at a notable private hospital in Ibadan.
This was announced in a statement by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi.
Dr. Ajetunmobi expressed condolences to the family of the deceased on behalf of the state government.
She acknowledged the circulation of a video clip related to the incident and emphasized the government’s commitment to uncovering the facts.
According to the statement, “It has come to the attention of the Ministry of Health, Oyo State, of a video clip in circulation over an unfortunate incidence of a loss of life that occurred to one of the patient at a prominent private hospital in Ibadan.
“On behalf of Oyo State Government, the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi, wishes to commiserate with the family of the deceased.”
The statement further disclosed that the Ministry of Health shall keep the public updated on the unfortunate incidence
