Former Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, has marked his 35th wedding anniversary with an emotional tribute to his wife, Dolapo, celebrating her unwavering love and commitment over the decades.
In a message shared on the platform X on Monday, Osinbajo described his wife as the epitome of selflessness and devotion, expressing gratitude for her profound impact on their family and society.
“Every year of these 35 years, you have shown that true love is not just a myth or a fanciful phrase,” he wrote.
“Through your willingness to sacrifice for me and our children, your generosity with your time and skills, and the great faith with which you’ve guided us through life’s unpredictable paths, you’ve been an incredible gift.”
Dolapo Osinbajo, a lawyer, author, and social advocate, has earned recognition for her extensive contributions to the community.
These include hosting national prayer gatherings, running shelters for vulnerable women, mentoring young people, and cultivating creative talents such as crocheting and gardening.
Reflecting on her multifaceted achievements, Osinbajo added, “You’ve authored books, led national prayer meetings, managed shelters for vulnerable women, mentored countless young people in various skills, crocheted with passion, and nurtured numerous gardens—all while being the backbone of our family.”
He concluded his tribute by expressing gratitude to God for her presence in his life, affirming his love and admiration with the words, “I thank God daily for the gift of you. I love you always. Happy 35th Anniversary.”
