Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, was recently seen spending time with Afrobeats icon Gabriel Oche Amanyi, better known as Terry G, amid ongoing sidelining by Napoli coach Antonio Conte.
This heartwarming encounter was highlighted in a popular social media clip that has captured fans’ attention.
Terry G, renowned for his energetic and often chaotic music style from the early 2010s, is currently enjoying his Italian getaway.
His Instagram updates reveal his visit to the Colosseum in Rome, where he took photos with the ancient monument and shared a video with a guide explaining the Colosseum’s historical significance as a venue for gladiator battles.
The highlight of Terry G’s Italian adventure came when he met up with Osimhen, who plays for Napoli.
Though it’s unclear whether Osimhen traveled the 228.6 km from Naples to Rome or if Terry G made the journey the other way, or if they met in a different Italian city, they were seen dining together at what appeared to be a restaurant.
During the dinner, Terry G playfully altered Osimhen’s name to “Osimymhen,” to which the striker affectionately responded, “The legend, Terry G.”
While Osimhen enjoys his time off, his agent, Roberto Calenda, continues to work diligently to facilitate a transfer for the player.
Osimhen is being linked with moves to prestigious clubs such as PSG and Chelsea, and he remains hopeful of securing a transfer to one of these teams before the close of the summer transfer window.
