The Governor of Niger State, Muhammed Umaru Bago, has commiserated the Emir of Suleja, Mallam Muhammadu Awwal Ibrahim and the entire people of the emirate over the passing of chief Imam of Suleja Central Mosque, Sheikh Dahiru Shu’aibu.
The governor who paid a condolence visit Monday at the emir’s palace in Suleja, described Shu’aibu’s demise as sad and painful.
Governor Bago identified the commitment of the late chief imam meritorious service during his term as Sharia Court judge and as chief imam of Suleja.
Bago said, “The late chief imam contributed his quota to the development of the emirate and the state.”
Governor Bago then urged the people of the emirate to accept whatever Allah has permitted to happen as He gives and takes while praying for the repose of the soul of the departed.
