Embattled Nigerian singer, Naira Marley, has confirmed his arrest by the Nigeria Police Force.
He confirmed this on his official X, formerly Twitter handle, while also restricting any public comment on his post.
Naira Marley wrote, “I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”
Punch Metro had recently reported Naira Marley arrival and eventual arrest by the police, and as released by the Lagos State Police Command’s Spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin on his Twitter post.
The recent developments will ultimately aid the investigation process, as Nigerians await justice and truth into the details of what led to the demise of his former signee, Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad.
Naira Marley who had requested his safety be guaranteed by the Nigeria police as reported by various social media outlets, along Popular social lite, Sam Larry have both been accused of having a hand in the demise of Mohbad of which they have both refuted such allegations as well.
