A Kenyan lady has revealed that Sam Larry who was alleged to be involved in the death of Nigeria singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba Oladimeji, popularly known as Mohbad is hiding in the country.
Mohbad died on Tuesday but the cause of his death has been a subject of controversy since the tragic incident.
The 27-year-old singer was said to be poisoned during his purported arrest and detention after a video of the late artiste crying on a hospital bed surfaced online.
In the video, Mohbad claimed he was forced to consume a liquid substance, abused with the butt of a gun and was later asked to go home.
It was widely reported in February 2022 that the anti-narcotics agency raided the Idado Estate home of artistes signed under the Marlian Record label and arrested six persons, including Zinolesky and Mohbad.
The Lagos State Police Command has said the body of the late singer would be exhumed for autopsy to aid investigation into his death, if it is necessary.
Reacting to the development, a Kenyan, simply identified as Queen Mother on her Instagram, disclosed that Lagos socialite and show promoter, Samson Erinfolabi Balogun, popularly known as Sam Larry, who was accused of having a hand in the death of singer Mohbad, is in Kenyan and where he is, is not hidden, calling on Nigeria Police in collaboration with Kenya Police to declare him wanted in order to arrest and extradite him back to his country.
She said, “I can authoritatively confirm to Nigeria that Sam Larry is hiding in Kenya. We want Nigeria Police to officially declare Sam Larry wanted so the Kenya Police can extradite him back to Nigeria.
While noting that the Kenyan and international fans of Mohbad cannot claim they understand the language and culture of Nigeria, she added that “Social media has proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Sam Larry, Naira Marley and their gangs really frustrated Mohbad to death.”
“I believe there is a criminal investigation going on in Nigeria and Sam Larry is person of interest to end investigation or shed light on what led to the death of the departed Mohbad.”
