Mohbad: Iyabo Ojo’s daughter slams Naira Marley over lawsuit
By Wilson Adekumola
Priscilla, daughter of the popular Nigeria actress, Iyabo Ojo, has slammed the embattled Nigeria Singer, Azeez Fashola better known as Naira Marley for filing a lawsuit against her mother.
Ojo had claimed on social media that Naira Marley was involved in the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad.
Mohbad died on September 12 under controversial circumstances which led to many Nigerians to finger his former employer based on the evidence of feud between the duo.
Marley was consequently arrested and detained by the Lagos State Police Command in order to uncover the circumstances surrounding the late singer’s death.
However, the police found no evidence that Naira Marley had hand in Mohbad’s death and was released.
Marley then filed a suit demanding the sum of N500 million and a public apology from Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo for the alleged dissemination of false and defamatory information about him on her Instagram account.
Reacting to the development in a post via her X, formerly Twitter handle, Priscilla noted that there is a strong evidence against Naira Marley.
She said, “You want to sue who? Sue who? Lemaooo.
“The case you have in court for the boys catalog and unpaid royalties have you finished that one? When there are legit videos and evidence of you and your gang steady bullying that young man before he died. Dey play.
“Nigeria you all amaze me sha but like I will say no celebrity would have put their safety, career, kids on the line to fight for justice. That lady you all are dragging now didn’t only come online to fight. She legit at the police station back to back. Till now still paying for DJ splash, hospital bills and treatment.Yet you called it a clout. Like she made money out of it? What does a whole Iyabo Ojo want again? She was supporting LP clout?
