Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, has been arrested in Florida, United States, on charges of driving under influence, cocaine possession, and resisting arrest.
According to TMZ, the 34-year-old was taken into custody on Monday and booked at the Orange County Jail.
This arrest follows a previous incident in which Marcus was spotted allegedly snorting a white substance during a vacation in the South of France in 2024.
Marcus was once romantically linked to reality star Larsa Pippen, 50, the ex-wife of his father’s former Chicago Bulls teammate, Scottie Pippen.
Their highly-publicized relationship attracted significant attention, not only due to their 17-year age gap but also because of the connection between their families.
The couple began dating in 2022, sparking controversy, especially since Marcus was only seven years old when Larsa married Scottie.
The relationship ultimately came to an end after Larsa reportedly grew tired of Marcus’ erratic behavior.
During a candid interview on the Amy & TJ podcast on iHeartRadio in March, Larsa provided a diplomatic explanation for their breakup, stating she realized Marcus wasn’t “her guy” after some time apart gave her the clarity she needed.
In July 2023, Michael Jordan himself made headlines when he expressed his disapproval of the relationship.
In a video captured by DailyMail, Michael was asked for his thoughts while dining with his wife, Yvette Prieto. Laughing at the question, he bluntly declared, “No!” when pressed on whether he supported the romance.
Marcus, the second eldest son of Michael and his first wife, Juanita Vanoy, played college basketball at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
His recent troubles have raised eyebrows, marking a challenging chapter in his life.
