Lagos State Police Command has said it arrested a 25-year-old suspect, Emmanuel Ikoka, for alleged theft of electrical cables at Lagos State Teaching Hospital,, in Ikeja.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known in a statement via his verified X handle on Sunday.
He revealed that the suspect was arrested by a security officer and handed over to the police.

“25-year-old Emmanuel Ikoka was apprehended by a vigilant security officer as he was emerging from a building under renovation in the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja.
“He was caught with lots of electrical wires he ripped off the building. Investigation is ongoing,” he wrote.
The police spokesperson stated that investigation was ongoing, while urging Lagos residents to safeguard their buildings under construction.
