The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency has sealed Donald’s Fast Food, a restaurant owned by Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, for violating environmental regulations.
The eatery, located on Adebayo Doherty Street in Lekki Phase 1, was shut down due to persistent noise pollution and other infractions.
This action was confirmed by the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, through a statement shared on X.com (formerly Twitter) on Sunday.
Wahab noted that the decision came after repeated warnings and abatement notices issued to the restaurant failed to yield compliance.
“After several warnings and abatement notices, the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency has sealed Donald’s Fast Food on Adebayo Doherty Street, Lekki 1, over noise pollution and other environmental infractions,” Wahab explained.
The commissioner emphasized the government’s commitment to enforcing environmental laws across the state to protect public health and the environment.
