A gospel music producer and son of Mount Zion Drama Ministry founder Mike Bamiloye, Joshua Mike-Bamiloye, has made a case for Christians watching BBnaija.
He made this disclosure via his Twitter handle on Tuesday evening, explaining a series of habit that might compete with God in your heart.
He wrote, “Before you tackle Christians watching BB, be sure you’re not a football addict.
“The fact remains that whatever competes with God in your heart is on the same boat.
“Before you tackle ladies that know everything about their favorite character, be sure you’re not the same with all the football players.
“Before you criticize them replacing devotion time with the show, be sure you haven’t skipped a fellowship over a hot match, Or you haven’t been checking live scores during the service.
“of course, we know the show contains immoral scenes and isn’t exactly productive (life of over 80% of entertainment content today).
“So let’s encourage building our walk with God and placing him as top priority, and it’ll reflect in how much wisdom we apply in handling these contents.”
Recall that, in 2017, his father, Mike Bamiloye had reacted to the same TV reality show, condemning it and referring to the show as immoral.
He said, “THEY KISSED. THEY ROMANCED. BEFORE THE CAMERAS OF AFRICA. AND THEY WERE HONORED AND GLORIFIED. AT TIMES, THE GLORIES OF THIS WORLD MAKE THE CHILDREN OF THE KINGDOM LOOK STUPID.
“I HOPE SOME KINGDOM CHILDREN WILL NOT BEGIN TO ENVY THIS TYPE OF WORLDLY GLORIES.
“WHAT DOES THIS TEACH OUR YOUTHS NOW? GLAMORIZING AND GLORIFYING
“IMMORALITY BEFORE THE CAMERAS OF THE WORLD CAN FETCH YOU MILLIONS AND MAKE YOU A CELEBRITY OVERNIGHT?
“I HOPE SOME PASTORS WILL NOT BEGIN TO MAKE REFERENCE TO THIS AS A WORK OF GOD’S GRACE.”
