Ipswich secured promotion to the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield on Saturday.
The victory means Ipswich finished on 96 points, six ahead of third-placed Leeds United.
Kieran McKenna’s team, already holding a three-point lead over third-placed Leeds, needed just a draw to clinch promotion. Goals from Wes Burns and Omari Hutchinson sealed the win.
This achievement marks Ipswich’s historic back-to-back promotions, having secured automatic promotion from Sky Bet League One as runners-up to Plymouth the previous season.
Ipswich will join Leicester City in the Premier League, with Leicester having won the Championship.
Leeds, Southampton, West Bromwich Albion, and Norwich City will move to the playoffs to compete for the remaining promotion spots.
Ipswich will now return to the English top flight for the first time since the 2001/02 season.
