The Independent National Electoral Commission has officially received a petition seeking to initiate the recall process of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from the National Assembly.
According to The PUNCH, INEC’s Secretary, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, acknowledged receipt of the petition on Monday.
The move to recall the lawmaker reportedly stems from concerns over what petitioners describe as an “international embarrassment.”
