Unknown gunmen have abducted Dr. Alex Terkimbir Igyemwase in Zakibiam, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State .
According to an anonymous family relative, the incident, occurred Tuesday night, around 8pm.
“He was abducted at his residence opposite NKST Secondary School Zakibiam, alongside his son, who was later released unhurt,” the family member said.
The Nation reported that the victim is the Medical Director of Hope and Maternity Hospital in Zakibiam.
The Divisional Police Office in Ukum Local Government area confirmed that the matter has been reported, although his location and health status are yet unknown.
