The family of late gospel singer, Aduke Gold, has released the schedule for her burial rites, following her passing on August 13, 2024.
The schedule for her burial was as contained in an obituary banner sighted on Saturday, August 17, barely a week after the news of her death broke on August 13, 2024.
According to the event schedule, a candlelight service will take place on Wednesday, August 21, at Ayanleye Primary School Idiagbon Bus Stop, College Road, Ifako Ijaiye, Ogba, Lagos State by 6pm.
“Aduke Gold may be gone, but her legacy lives on through her soul-lifting songs and dedication to her craft,” said fellow gospel artist, Esther Igbekele.
The burial rites will begin with a candlelight service on Wednesday, August 21, at 6pm, followed by an artistes’ night on Thursday, August 22, from 6pm to 6am, at Ayanleye Primary School in Lagos.
The lying in state and burial service will take place on Friday, August 23, at 9am, at Lagos African Church Grammar School.
“Aduke Gold’s impact on the gospel music industry will be deeply felt, and she will be cherished by many,” Igbekele added.
The late singer passed away after a two-month illness at the University College Hospital in Ibadan.
