The Warriors of Zimbabwe have landed in Kigali ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Nigeria.
Baltemar Brito’s side arrived Kigali on Saturday morning.
The players and their officials were given a warm reception by officials of the Zimbabwe embassy in Kigali and officials from the advance party that arrived in Rwanda on 7 November.
The team will be based in Kigali until November 13 before moving to Butare, the host town for the World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda, 15 November, and Nigeria, 19 November.
Six players and technical crew members made the trip to Kigali.
The foreign-based players are expected to join the camp on Sunday.
