Brentford extended their unbeaten home streak in the Premier League with a thrilling 4-2 victory over Newcastle United, a match in which the visitors twice battled back from a goal down.
The decisive moment came when Brentford defender Nathan Collins found the net, securing all three points for his side.
The Bees initially took the lead in the first half with goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa.
However, Newcastle responded quickly both times, with Alexander Isak and Harvey Barnes scoring to level the game within minutes of each Brentford goal.
In a match marked by fast-paced action and challenging weather conditions, Brentford regained the lead in the 56th minute. Collins capitalized on a long free kick and calmly finished past Newcastle keeper Nick Pope to give his team a 3-2 advantage.
Although Newcastle continued to press forward in search of an equalizer, it was Brentford substitute Kevin Schade who sealed the victory, making it 4-2 and ensuring the win.
The result lifted Brentford to sixth place in the standings with 23 points, three points ahead of Newcastle, who remain in 12th.
