Former senior pastor of Living Faith Church, Goshen City, Abuja, Bishop David Abioye, has launched a Sunday evening service following his retirement from the ministry in October 2024.
In a video recently shared by @realchurchg1, Bishop Abioye made the announcement during one of the services, where he also revealed plans for the next ‘Hour of Revival’ event, set to take place on Saturday at the stadium area.
Addressing worshippers, he stated, “Please be reminded while that service is on, we will be having our next Hour of Revival next Saturday in the stadium area.
“As you have been told, powerful times great things happen. Please don’t miss it. And by God grace, this fellowship time continues every Sunday evening in this place till it is announced otherwise.
“5pm is the time, if you have been blessed, get your friends, acquaintances and your loved one to join you.”
Bishop Abioye, known for his fiery preaching and a congregation of over 30,000 worshippers, retired from the Bishop Oyedepo-led Winners Chapel on October 18, 2024.
His departure left many speculating about his future involvement in the church. These speculations intensified after his absence from Shiloh 2024, a major event of the ministry.
Shortly after his retirement, Bishop Abioye began hosting the Hour of Revival programme, which he described as a divine directive.
While he has not publicly announced plans to establish a new church, his ministry activities, including a recent social media post, have reignited online discussions about his next steps.
