Chelsea have successfully reached an agreement to sign promising Brazilian full-back Denner Evangelista from Corinthians in a transfer deal worth €10 million, with an additional €4 million in potential add-ons.
The 17-year-old defender is set to officially join the Premier League giants in 2026, committing to a long-term contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2032.
Renowned football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, confirmed the move on Sunday via X, stating, “Denner Evangelista to Chelsea, here we go! Deal agreed for the 17-year-old full-back to join Chelsea from Corinthians for €10m plus €4m in add-ons, with taxes covered.”
With all necessary paperwork completed, Evangelista is expected to put pen to paper soon, securing his future with the London club.
This transfer reflects Chelsea’s ongoing strategy of investing in top young talents from South America, a trend they have maintained in recent windows.
His arrival in 2026 will further strengthen Chelsea’s defensive options as they continue shaping their squad for the years ahead.
“Contract until 2032 to be signed soon, as he will join Chelsea in 2026,” Romano added.
