La Liga: Sadiq benched as Sociedad secure fourth straight win

Nigerian international, Umar Sadiq, was sidelined during Real Sociedad’s commanding 3-0 victory over Leganes in Sunday’s LaLiga encounter.

Sadiq, who remained an unused substitute, watched as his team secured their fourth consecutive league win in impressive fashion.

Real Sociedad’s goals came from Brais Méndez, Ander Barrenetxea, and Mikel Oyarzabal.

Méndez broke the deadlock in the 14th minute, while Barrenetxea doubled the lead in the 78th minute.

Oyarzabal put the result beyond doubt with a late strike in stoppage time, sealing the visitors’ dominant performance.
