Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford, has been sentenced for a speeding offence committed last December.
Rashford, 26, has been given a six-month driving ban and fined after being caught exceeding the speed limit in his Rolls Royce.
Earning approximately £300,000 per month at Manchester United, Rashford owns several high-performance vehicles.
This isn’t his first car-related incident; he crashed another car three months prior to this offence.
According to Sky Sports, Rashford was driving at 104 MPH on the M60 in Manchester, significantly over the 70mph (112 km/h) speed limit for the motorway.
Rashford seems to have a habit of speeding. He previously crashed another Rolls Royce, valued at £700,000, near the Manchester United training ground in Carrington.
That crash involved another vehicle but resulted in no injuries, and no ambulance was needed.
The court in Manchester has now imposed a six-month driving ban on the striker for his reckless driving.
In addition to the ban, he must pay a £1,666 fine, £120 in court costs, and a £66 surcharge.
Currently on holiday, Rashford was not part of Gareth Southgate’s England squad that reached the final of the European Championships.
He has assured fans that he is taking this time to rest and prepare for the upcoming season, aiming to improve on his performance from last year.
