Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen kidnapped two students of the Federal University Wukari, Taraba State on Monday night.
The institution’s Chief Security Officer, Sule Gani, disclosed the incident on Tuesday.
He said the victims graduated but stayed behind to remedy some of their courses.
He explained that the incident occurred around 11 pm around the school premises.
“They carried him and one a lady. They are spill-over students. He came out to buy something and some suspected herdsmen took them away,” Gani said.
When contacted, the Taraba State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Usman, said he is on a sick bed and could not speak on any issue for now.
