The Director-General of Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alh Laminu Rabi’u Danbappa, has officially announced N4.699 million as the final fare for 2024 Hajj.
Public Relations Officer of the board, Alhaji Sulaiman A Dederi, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday, and made available to newsmen.
Danbappa then urged those who have made deposits of N4. 5 million to come forward in earnest for the balance of N199, 000 while those whose deposit fund have been retained for consecutive years should also turn up immediately for topping to reach the fixed fare of N4.699 million.
The board noted that the announcement was in line with the directives by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.
He also stated that the announcement followed unanimous decisions from the NAHCON on Saturday.
The statement, however, added that Danbappa underscored the availability of Hajj seats for purchase, urging intending pilgrims to seize this opportunity.
“He emphasizes that the final Hajj fare is applicable from February 3, 2024, to February 12, 2024, encouraging the Muslim Ummah who are willing and yet to register to please avail themselves of this chance.
“He expresses gratitude for the Kano State Government’s efforts, particularly under the leadership of Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusif, in renovating the Hajj Camp and other welfare packages for the benefit of pilgrims,” the statement concluded.
