Renowned traditionalist and highly recognised Lagosian, the Olori Eleyo of Lagos, Chief Kabiru Oshodi, on Wednesday marked 30 years of being at the helm.
The ceremony was held at Awe Eyo Labaekun territory, where the five most senior Eyo groups were represented, namely Eyo Awe Adimu, Olori Eyo; Eyo Oba Alakete Pupa Labaekun; Eyo Awe Oniko; Eyo Awe Ologede and Eyo Awe Alangere.
They prayed for the Olori Eleyo of Lagos that his tenure would last for more years with remarkable success
The paramount Apena of Lagos, Chief Bamitefa Ogundare, commended Chief Oshodi for the assistance rendered not only to Lagosians, but also to others that came in contact with him.
He prayed that Lagos State would continue to excel and Nigeria would continue to prosper to the admiration of all and sundry.
Chief Oshodi thanked Almighty God for sparing his life to celebrate 30 years on the throne as the Olori Eleyo of Lagos.
