Human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, has explained why the engagement of legal representatives is a must for up-and-coming artists.
He stated this in light of the speculated fallout between late Nigerian artist, Mohbad and his record label boss, Naira Marley.
While sharing his opinion about the discourse, he recommended artists and entertainers to retain the services of lawyers in order to advance their careers.
Taking to his X account, he posted,“As an upcoming artist, you should have and retain a lawyer as an integral part of your career.
“If you’re into entertainment or any business for that matter, and you do not have a lawyer, you’re taking a huge risk that may cost you irreparable loss.
“This advice has saved lives.”
