Content creator Adeyemi Elesho aka Yemi Elesho has opened up on his early life struggles as an hawker to make ends meet.
The social media sensation recalled how he hustled in traffic by selling Aboniki, Face towel and bread just to survive.
In an interview with media personality, Amina Atiaru, Elesho revealed he ran away from his father’s house at a young age to Ibadan, where he sold Aboniki balm and face towels for survival.
He said he did this up till luck found him and his life began taking a new turn positively.
Yemi, not forgetting his helper, acknowledged famous content creator, Woli Agba for showing him the way to a better life in creating contents.
“I sold aboniki and face towels in the traffic. I sold bread. It was because of Woli Agba I stopped doing stage. I have never dreamt one day and saw myself as a content creator,” he said.
He said, “When I ran out of the house, I later left Elesho’s house. I left in 2011.”
Briefly cutting him short, the host asked if the comic’s father wasn’t upset after he ran away.
Elesho responded saying, “Only a person you see can express their anger.
“I left. I went to Iwo Road, Ibadan, where I sold face towels, Aboniki, and bread in the traffic.
“I also went to the University of Ibadan, where I sold Tampico just outside the school gate.”
