Social Media was left buzzing on Thursday after popular Nigerian singer, Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz teamed up with Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, popularly known as Vector, released a song to diss the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The three minutes now viral song knocked the electoral body over the role in the conduct of the just concluded general elections.
The song titled, ” Yakubu“, has continued to generate waves on social media as Nigerians have taken to various social media platforms to share their opinion about the song.
On Twitter, a tweep @ Paulumeora tweeted, “Please, Falz and Vector should be protected at all cost.
“This song could be banned by the government because of the message in it and Falz could be arrested for slandering INEC, Judiciary and the government through arts.
“By the way, this is one of the best forms of protest!!!”
While @Oluwatomisin, tweeted,”I think you don’t know who falz father is. If they should arrest him. Many people will go down. So they dare not. No one fit release that kind of content with backup plan.”
Another tweep @PappyJ tweeted, “You know it’s only Falz that has big enough balls to do a song like this at this point in time. Much respect Falz🙌🙌”
