Nigerian player, Ado Hadi, was reported to have died during a match against SP Cabanillas on Sunday.
Hadi, before his demise was with CD Madridejos in the Spanish Terceira division.
The cause of his death is yet to be ascertained. The Castilla-La Mancha Football Federation in a statement, said that 21 years old Hadi collapsed for no apparent reasons in the 39th minute of the ill-fated match.
According to Punch, the medical team on the ground at the Municipal Toledo ground immediately came to his aide but efforts to revive him proved abortive as he was pronounced dead minutes after.
In his career, he has played for Jigawa Golden Stars before joining Club Deportivo Madridejos, a football club based in Madridejos, Castile-La Mancha in Spain.
