Go Ahead Eagles pulled off a stunning upset to secure a place in the KNVB Cup final, defeating PSV Eindhoven 2-1 in a dramatic encounter.

Gerrit Nauber rose highest to nod in a corner after 25 minutes, and just moments later, Victor Edvardsen finished off a rapid counterattack to double their advantage.
In an effort to turn the tide, PSV introduced Ismael Saibari and Noa Lang from the bench, intensifying their push for a comeback.
Their persistence paid off before the hour mark when Nauber handled the ball in the area, allowing Ivan Perisic to convert from the penalty spot and reduce the deficit.
PSV piled on the pressure in search of an equalizer, launching wave after wave of attacks. Saibari came agonizingly close, only for his effort to be cleared off the line.
Late in the match, Lucas Pérez made his debut, but even the experienced forward couldn’t salvage the result for the hosts.
With this remarkable victory, Go Ahead Eagles advance to only their second-ever KNVB Cup final, where they will face either Heracles or AZ Alkmaar.
