Nigerian international, Joe Aribo, played a role for Southampton as they secured a hard-fought 1-1 draw away at Brighton & Hove Albion in a Premier League encounter on Friday.
Despite a strong performance, Southampton’s winless run extended to three matches, with two draws and one loss during this stretch.
Aribo was brought on in the 66th minute, contributing to Southampton’s defensive efforts that helped thwart Brighton’s attempt to make it three consecutive wins.
Unfortunately, Aribo’s Nigerian teammate, Paul Onuachu, was sidelined for the match due to injury and was unavailable for selection.
The result leaves Southampton at the bottom of the Premier League standings, still struggling with just one win from 13 games, accumulating a mere five points.
